It occurs to me that learning to let go is not really something you can just read about. You have to actually go through the steps of releasing/letting go so you can experience it. Letting go is actually and experience not just a theory. There is no way for you to know what it is unless you actually go through the entire process in a step by step mannner. Simply reading this blog would be like reading a book about jogging but never actually jogging or a book about pianos and never actually playing the piano.
So here it is… Think of something that frustrates you right now.
Now ask yourself. 1. Could I let this go, just for 2 seconds? 2. Would I, just for now? 3. When?
Now take a look inside and see if you are still as frustrated about it as before. If so, focus on the feeling of frustration and repeat questions 1,2 and 3 again. Do this and keep looking inside. You’ll notice that you start to feel lighter and lighter.
So experience the letting go, don’t just read about it.
