This is going to be a quick post.
1. Could you just for now simply allow happiness and joy?
2. Could you allow yourself to have a happy and prosperous new year? What ever feelings come up when you utter these questions out loud, simply ask yourself. Could I let that feeling go - just for the moment? Would I? pause… When?
Allowing things to just unfold as they do is often a great way of letting go of our negative feelings. We are driven by feelings so focus on the feeling and simply let it go just as best you can. This does not mean that you’ll lose yourself or lose your goal for the new year. It simply means that you’ll have more energy to focus on your goals.
Here’s a quick test. Using your right hand grip a pencil very tightly. Notice the sensation of the gripping, then simply let the item you chose to grip drop to the floor and notice how that feels. Note that you made a decision to drop the item, you let it go. This is exactly how you let go of feelings. You simply decide to drop it and it falls away with relative ease.
